The Mysore Bank Employees Education Society was started in the year 1956, under the guidance of Late Sri. B.V. Narayana Reddy the then General Manager of the Bank of Mysore Ltd., as a non-profit organization.
The society duly, registered under the ‘ Mysore Societies Registration Act No. III of 1904, dated 21st May 1956 ‘ has been successfully running educational institutions since the year 1956.
The Society named its educational institutions after Smt. Rani Sarala Devi of the Royal Family of Vanaparthi Sansthanam ( the then Andhra Pradesh state) who donated a princely sum for the construction of the Institutions’ building during 1956 on the land allotted by the Government of Mysore to help the students of South Bangalore, when there were no other educational institutions.
We are proud that the educational institution has produced many Doctors, Engineers, Chartered Accountants, Educationalists and many other illustrious aluminous and are in prestigious positions both in Government and Private sectors.

Our Mission: Imparting quality education to the needy / Economically under Privileged students and making them to be competitive in the rapidly changing global scenario
Our students are from Economically Weaker Sections of the society; we are not collecting capitation fee or donations from them. The teaching staff from Primary school to PU College is drawing their salaries from Govt. Aid, Primary education from 1st standard to 7th Standard is free; for other students only, a nominal fee is being charged
The membership of the Society is available only to the former employees of State Bank of Mysore and the membership is limited to 75 members. These members will elect 11 Governing Council members once in three years. All the chosen members are eminent and highly qualified Bankers and are extending their services on honorary basis.
The institution has a 3-storey building with spacious playground in 2.5 acres of land situated at 10th Main Road, I Block, Jayanagar, Bengaluru. We have spacious Auditorium, sports facilities like Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Throw Ball, Cricket etc. in addition to indoor games. We have well equipped digital Library, Science Lab, and Computer Lab etc.
Vocational training is also provided by the institution for skill development. We are providing technical and job-oriented skills to College students like Tally, GST, MS-Office, Spoken English and communication skills to enable the students to secure jobs with ease.
We have given importance to digitalization/computerization, Smart Classes and Audio-visual teaching methods.
We are arranging seminars/talks/workshops/debates by eminent personalities/industrialists to enhance the skills of the students.
Internship is being provided to final year degree students.
Mid-day meals are being provided through “Akshaya Patra Pratishtana” to Primary and High School students.
The donations may be in the form of cash or renovation of each classroom, which may cost around Rs.3.5 to 4 lakhs.
Donor’s names for classroom renovation will be displayed on granite slabs at the classroom entrance
The Institution has adequately qualified and well-experienced faculty resulting in all round academic performance up to 90% with most students securing distinction.
More importance is given to digitalization /computerization and courses in respective fields. Smart Classes and Audio-visual teaching methods. Library with wide range of books are added to impart the quality education to the needy students
We provide pre-placement training and reputed corporates are visiting the institution for Campus Placements.
